This youth group meets once a week for 1 ½ hours and is designed to help youth ages 10-14 build and strengthen their leadership skills. Youth will also participate in several community events in order to increase community involvement, knowledge and give youth a voice in the community through coalition involvement.

Youth will participate in several activities, workgroups and discussions that will allow them to express their opinion on current issues such as youth substance abuse and create strategies in order promote healthier communities. Youth will also be able to participate in fun trips i.e. University of Arizona Campus, Movies, etc. There will also be skill-building activities and group support. Those youth who become interested in further community involvement will have the opportunity to become active members of Liberty Partnership Kino Neighborhoods Coalition.

The meetings will begin with snacks and refreshments, youth will be provided transportation to all activities, there will be of no cost to participating youth. Youth will create an appropriate club name, design shirts and will be available to assist in other school related events that fight their clubs mission.
